West Orange HS Senior, Megan, is a well rounded and dedicated student. She has
participated in Student Government, Varsity Soccer and NHS during her Senior year. Megan has also volunteered at the bettered women’s shelter and helped feed the home during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Her plans after High School include attending UCF to study in the medical field and become a nurse. She told us she chose this field because she wants to help those in need. Megan described her personality as caring and someone who tries to see the good in everyone.
Megan has not always had it easy. She told us about a terrible tragedy her family had to face. Lightning struck their home and it burnt down. They they lost everything they owned and had to completely rebuild their lives.
Her mom is her biggest inspiration in life, she told us, “she inspires me to be a better person every day. Although she has had a rough upbringing, she is so happy all of the time and has a contagious smile”.
Megan, we hope you have an awesome Senior year and wish you the best of luck in your nursing career!
